The Men and Machines that make Beer

This equipment that is now Amber's was conceived by a group of friends who got together and purchased it in the hopes of making a few dollars and of supplying themselves and their rugby club with some of Canada's best beer at a great price. They named themselves the Strathcona brewing Company. A label is seen to the Left.

After a few years they sold the equipment to new owners, who would rechristen the enterprise "Flanagan and Sons". Oddly enough, there were no "sons" involved at the time. A copy of one of their labels is seen below.

Again, some years later, the brewery that was purchased as a hobby became a little too time intensive so it closed down.

And it sat. Until it was purchased and reopened under the Amber's name...

And here we sit.
