If you are wondering about this background photo it is a scan of a photograph of my Grandfather returning from WWI. The caption reads: "The Nation's Best Friends in time of peace or War - the Soldiers. All that is left of the 49th overseas battalion and great war veterans being welcomed home to Edmonton, March 22nd, 1919." It was taken by the Alberta College of Photography. You will note that it is taken on the CN lands just North West of todays City Hall.
